A couple of years ago, Uyen’s sister in law reached out to me to schedule portraits for Uyen and Gordon.  Uyen had been sick and wasn’t sure that she was going to make it to see her 25th wedding anniversary, so she was throwing a surprise anniversary party for her husband Gordon.  Fast forward two years later, and Uyen reached out and told me that she did in fact fight through her illness and they wanted to throw a huge celebration, to not only celebrate their 25 years together, but to celebrate marriage in general and enjoy an evening with friends and family from all around the world.  Uyen and Gordon are two of the kindest, most hospitable and generous couples I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and I am so happy that I was given the opportunity to participate in their event and create some beautiful portraits for them!
